Thanks for checking out our website.  Please explore our site to learn about the people who make up the Good Samaritan United Methodist Church.  We are a fellowship of believers who come together to worship and seek guidance from a most loving and gracious God.

You're probably familiar with John 3:16 from the Bible, or maybe you've seen it on a sign at a sporting event.  Here's what it says: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."  We often stop there but the next verse continues, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."  You see, God's love and forgiveness is bigger than all of our sins. No matter how hard I may try to be good enough so that I can have a relationship with God, I can't. But the amazing thing is that God did all the work for us. Here at Good Samaritan, our desire is to help each other on our journey in learning how to better love God, how we can learn to love ourselves, and  to develop a deeper love for others (Matthew 22:37-40).
